Phoenix Brass and their supporters were both shocked and saddened at the sudden death of their young Flugel Horn player, Stephanie Hunter.

Stephanie joined as a cornet player and soon became a popular member of the band.  She was a very gifted musician and when the band needed a principal cornet player Stephanie was ready to take on the responsibility.  Subsequently, when requested, she enthusiastically occupied the position of Flugel Horn player without hesitation.

She was also an active member of the band committee and gave great help in the start of the Band's Training Section.

Stephanie will be sadly missed by her family outside of the Band and her family inside the Band and we give our sympathy and condolences to all who will be affected by this tragic loss.
